BIO

Steven O'Brien, sometimes known as John Steven! Repented and accepted Christ in 1995. He is an MK raised in Ukraine since his parents started church planting in 1999, after the fall of the Soviet Union. Upon finishing high school, he attended and finished 4th year linguistics courses at Kharkov National University "Karazina". Then he returned to the USA to Attended Heartland Baptist Bible College in OKC, Ok. He Left HBBC after one semster to return to Ukraine and marry Nina Andreevets in the summer of 2012. And has since been working at Faith Bible Baptist Church in Kharkov under the Pastor, his Father John O'Brien, until the Lord provides a visa for his wife so they can return to the USA. They are planning on returning during the summer in 2014 should they finally receive her visa.
He is the youth leader, and song director at Faith. And during the week he works on finishing the construction of Faith's church building.

Nina O'Brien, born in Kazakhstan and raised by her grandparents there until moving to Odessa, Ukraine with her mother and step father at the age of 16. She then at 16 started attending law school, as Slovak school system is different than the US. During her studeis she became best friends with a Christian girl who invited her to church, and later repented of her sins and accepted Christ on Aug, 3, 2008! She then met Steven at a summer youth camp. And after graduating from law school in 2011, they officially started courting on father's day 2011. Steven returned from Bible college on Christmas break 2011, and proposed to Nina on Dec, 23 2011.. And on June, 2nd 2012 she became Nina O'Brien!
She currently helps with interior work at Faith Bible Baptist Church.
